MUHAMMAD (means THE PRAISED ONE), attributed to our Prophet peace be upon Him)
IQBAL (means THE HONOURED ONE) (there may be other meanings, too.)
There is another part of my name SHAIKH ( that is why I am "mishaikh") here on this forum and in all other forums.
Shaikh may be my sirname, it is from a group (biradry) of people from Dehli (India). But I am very much Pakistani now living in USA, I usually do not use this part of my name. But most of my paternal relatives use this name also.
I have a strong belief that every one of us has a share from the meaning of his or her name. The way you write your topics with, deepens this faith. Thanks my friend. Really I was lucky enough to read your nice comment. God bless you and your family as well.
My name "Iris" is a classic name. Iris comes directly from the Greek word "Iris", which means "rainbow." Iris was the name of the goddess of the rainbow, according to Greek Mythology, and was said to deliver messages to the Gods across a rainbow bridge. Paying homage to the name's rainbow roots, Iris also refers to the colorful Iris flower, as well as the pigmented part of the eye.
Wow, really my heart was moved by the beautiful meaning your name has. Add to that, the nice story which behind. Although it is against my believes, but I fond of such stories. Thanks my dear for sharing us the meaning of your unique name. God bless you.
My friend, what I know for sure is that; your name is a nice gift you have been, ever, given, to have a right to show off proudly among your friends. Lovely name to kind creature. God bless you and your family as well.

It means shining.
