  1. What is the relevance of learning English in your life, in your society and in your environment?

Ans)

English is supposed to be our official language (In Pakistan).  This language rules in government matters, business, and in some schools whose medium of teaching is English.  So this is essential for us to know English if we need a job in a reputable organization, so I did learn English.  English is the requirement of my job.

My first job was with an indenting company.  You must know that indentin

Yes, you can put it this way: Whose writing here do you enjoy the most?

I mean 'on MyEC' by 'here'. This is not exactly one of the questions offered by Lydy Anne in her writing challenge, but it's directly connected to them.

I've really enjoyed Tara's writing here, should it be her writing challenges, comments or messages. Yes, you got it: my type:)

Tara is a native English teacher, writer or novelist. Her writing is so readable, or you can call it 'plain English' - not exactly means 'simple', ev

  1. What do you think is the best section in EC that has made your English learning improved? Why?
  2. What do you like most in this club?  Why?

The best section in EC which in my opinion has made my English learning improved is “blogging”.  Like I have already explained in one of my previous blogs that blogging is said to post (publish) a writer’s own experiences, observations, opinions feelings on a website or in a forum for the benefit of the readers.  Since I know that my writing is going to be read,

A Worth Lesson from a Sufi Scholar

There was a young-Islamic student who was sitting on the edge of an Islamic school bench. His face showed that he was facing problems and feeling so pathetic. His wise teacher saw the student, came close to him and asked “Don’t you see there are many beautiful things in this world?” The teacher continued “Where is your grateful face?” Then, the student responded “Lately, I’ve been facing so many problems, that’s why I seem so pathetic, Syaikh.” Smiling and looking at his sad face, the teacher pr

At The Printer Service

Me = OneePM = Printer mechanic

After an hour of queue.
PM : What’s the problem?
Me : Error 5600, and the roll doesn’t move.
PM : Ok. Let me see!

A minute later, the printer didn’t work as I told him. Then, he disassembled it. I was intruding his work.
Me : Bro, I just bought the roll a month ago, but it didn’t work two weeks afterward. I still have the bill, it is exactly a month ago, so it’s still on warranty.
PM : Where is it?
Me : Here it is.

He seemed to be struggling a bit hard to fix it an

When challenged by the task

To rise to heights you've never seen

Or is that too much to ask ?

This is your day a world to win

Great purpose to achieve

Accept the challenge of your goals

And in yourself, believe !

You will be proud of what you've done

When at the close of day

You look back on your battles won

Content, you came this way !

1. Personal Passive
When we put an object of an active sentence into passive, it becomes subject of the passive sentence.

Active sentence → The professor gave the students the books.
Passive sentence → The students were given the books.
We sometimes use a pronoun for the students or the books in its subject form (here: they).

Active sentence → The professor gave them the books.
Passive sentence → They were given the books.
We very often leave out the by-agent in the passive sentence (here: by the profe

My Dad and Mom asked me what i wanna be one day...

When I was 5, I wanna be a clown because he's so cute and funny.

When I was 12, I wanna be a doctor. Everyone said that a doctor is a sophisticated person.

When I was 17, I changed my mind. I wanna be a flight attendant. Some said that if u were a flight attendant, you would have a chance to have breakfast in London, Lunch in Paris, Dinner in New York in ONE DAY. Wasn't it fascinating?.

But then, what i am now??? a clown  (No, thank God), a doctor

Variety is the beauty of life.

Everyone is unique. I am sure you are familiar with this saying. Although we are so alike but at the same time we are different. These differences give beauty and variety to life; as you know humans abhor monotonous. It is all the same when it also comes to different cultures.

People in every culture have their own traditions. Sometimes I wonder is it necessary to keep these traditions or as time changes it’s better to get rid of them? What is tradition, anyway?

DEPRESSION

DEPRESSION

Depression is more than simply feeling unhappy or fed up for a few days as it is commonly understood: We all go through spells of feeling down, but when you're depressed you feel persistently sad for weeks or months, rather than just a few days. Some people still think that depression is trivial and not a genuine health condition. They're wrong. Depression is a real illness with real symptoms, and it's not a sign of weakness or something you can "snap out of" by "pulling yourself toget

Gratefulness !

Another year of our lives is gone .I can t say if was good or bad,all I know is that all this time God protected us and gave the strength to go on.
Thanks to Him I am still here waiting for a new year.
So I dont want to make a report with what I achieved or not in this ending year ,I just want to thanks God for all I have and to promise Him that in the incoming year I will focus on the things I already have and I will always be grateful for them.

I also want to greet you all me

It’s that time of the year, folks. 2015 is winding down (*coming to an end*), and we are all eagerly (*excitedly*) waiting for 2016 to arrive. What will happen this next year? What will we do? What will we accomplish? These questions aren’t the big one though. The burning question, and probably the most common small talk conversation starter around this time, “What is your New Year’s Resolution?”

In case you’re not sure of what a New Year’s resolution is, let me fill you in (*give you the details

Sometimes we forgive a person, but it gets difficult to forgive ourselves, kindly dont drown into sadness and pain and FORGIVE URSELF!!, we r not perfet, the only perfect is God" we are tought from everything in the life. your mistakes are not for killing you, but to make you better.

If you can do something to make it up, just do it, without wasting time and make an effort not to repeat the same action or word again.
