Hello my dear friends,
I am Shoba from Sri Lanka. I was born and bred in India, but I live in Sri Lanka now.
In my hometown everyone speaks my native language. However, in Sri Lanka only a few people speak my language. The majority of people speak a different language.
The good news is, for both communities English is a common language. Therefore, I use English to communicate with my neighbors and other people I come across in my everyday life.
As English plays an important role in my life I practice it regularly.
Thank you for reading my blog post.
Wish you all a very Happy New Year!
