Here is my mom's dishes made specially for me for my b-day when she came to me from my hometown. That name is "Bánh Xèo" or pancakes, it literally means "sizzling cake" it named with the loud sizzling sound it makes when the rice batter is poured into the hot skillet. At the first look, you may guess that must have eggs in, but it has not. I will give you the link on the comment box that tell you about them much more ;)Maybe it looks doesn't very as nice as in the restaurant, but it is meaningful for me.I never can say enough thanks for my mom. Just can hold this words in my heart. It couldn't taste delicious without spice leafs and fish sauce - one of the tradition food of Vietnamese. And my mom fix this sauce with chili, garlic, some drops lemon juice and a bit sugar...Well, I was really happy and enjoying this lunch with full of love from my mom... yum yum...

I'm happy that you came here and left your nice comment, especially that you are Vietnamese too! hihi... Oh! you haven't tried it yet?lol...
Let try it as soon as you can, will you? I bet that you would like it at one! :P
Regarding the words "have" and "eat", :) I think both of them are polite and common in using. It ups to the context. we have the phrases "have breakfast/lunch/dinner..." just for telling about the main meal, we should use those phrase. And for others, you can use "eat"/"enjoy" (something) as formal situation, I think :)
Thank you very much... ya, fish sauce have so many ways to make a soup, and the taste would be very different from the original one. I hope one day you would come to Vietnam and taste it, you must like it right away ! :)
