Hahaha, AG, every country will have food what others never would try to eat. But seeing it is very interesting ....hahaha ... and sometimes, for brave people, is it also interesting to try it. You know? Sometimes it tastes better than its look.
Dear Anna, I have not eaten from this food-stall. Those photos are only a material to show what kind of food they offer at the market. I did not want to try it because it seemed to have been lying for too long under the sun. I was speaking generally about food and about my trial of eating insects and worms.
When I had visited Thailand first time, I saw also grilled rats but those animals I never would try.
I know in your country people eat rats from the rice fields but here in Germany, we know rats only as dirty animals which live in sewers.
Hahaha, Estanis, I got you. So you never had tried it. Very pity for you because it's really very delicious and it isn't dangerous to taste it... believe me. Of course ... we have to look if it's clean also around the stalls.
Hahaha, Evangelina, those are insects and worms. They are grilled or deep fried. On my first travel to Thailand, I did try it ... and you will not believe, it tastes not bad. It's like crisps. That time there were deep fried flour worms. Our travel guide asked us to try them and I did. Hahaha, my husband is not as brave as me, he refused to eat them. I try everything as long as it isn't alive. Alive creatures are a taboo for me.
