It was very windy and chilly day when we reached Lands End. The waves pounded the rocks near the cliff. This view and weather reminded me of some scenery in Dapne Du Maurier's book - Rebecca.

Hi Lynne, I think I can understand your feelings. Like I said this reminds me of 'Rebecca'. This scene somewhat felt like the person was feeling a tinge of helpless and yet hopeful.
