Maybe some of you never seen a rubber tree before. The rubber is tapped from the tree by making some sort of incision towards the skin of tree. Then the white liquid will be gathered into a cup. This liquid is the rubber. Sometimes it will be collected while it is still in liquid form, and sometimes it will collected when it's already harden and form into some rubbery form

Your country and mine have the same rubber agriculture . I saw the rubber tree plantations a lot of times . In a dense rubber tree farm , I used to sit in the back of a pick-up truck and eating durian then a lot of mosquitoes bit :)
The difference is that in Thailand the farmers use coconut shells to keep the milky white sap .

Elen, your tyres, gloves and mattress, are made from some sort of rubber components. To tap those rubber trees and collect the liquid are back breaking job. I know this because my parents were 'rubber tappers'. They need to tap the rubber very early in the morning, roughly around 5 - 6 am, when you and I and many people were still sleeping, and they need to collect the liquid before the sun is too bright, maybe before 10 am, and immediately send it to the collection point.
If they collect the liquid late, it will become rubbery, and the price will be less than the liquid form. So it is very hard work.
