Yes, you're right! In Kaliningrad, a lot of wires that hang in the air! And of course, they spoil the overall impression! But this is the reality of time!
With regard to transport ... Unfortunately, in Kaliningrad was, it seems only one tram. There isn't any trolleys, it seens to me. Only buses and cars! I think it's not very good. Trams are more environmentally friendly.
Imagine, in Kaliningrad there are a lot of tram lines, but all of them untapped. :-(
Pedestrian crossings in the city center well equipped - lights, sound signals, but many intersections are very dangerous for pedestrians. It is not in hardware, but in the one sitting behind the wheel. :-(
Not bad. Actually quite normal. A lot of glass, like it's supposed to be for a modern building. But all the wires overhead make the view somewhat messy. Are them for trams or trolleybuses? ..But they don't have trolleybuses in Kaliningrad isn't? Still so many wires.
The good thing I see, is that the stone edge between the pedestrians sidewalk and road, is made smoothly lover at crossway. Probably it's because it's in busy street.. Here they do that too, but not always and everywhere. And they don't manage to do it everywhere with same height.. and often they leave too sharp edge that bite destroy bicycle tire if go up from it.
Well. In my hometown they tend to build windowless shopping centers too much. And ugly buildings.. One that I really dislike is this one. http://goo.gl/maps/9bYgF. Maybe it's not that much ugly, but too huge. Destroys the view.. and now the owner of that shopping center want to get permission to add also fifth floor for it too... It's so meaningless building. Taking a lot of space in downtown so many shops inside, but there's nothing to shop in there.. Some people go in there just to use toilet. :P
