The day before yesterday was the biggest punch to the gut I have ever gotten. When I went to see you in the hospital, you were still there. But then, the vet called me, saying that you had passed away after I had gone home. You might not know how much I love you, and how sad I was when I heard you were really gone. I know I am not a perfect owner, but so sure you were the best cat ever. I am grateful for having you in my life, bringing me so many wonderful moments for more than ten years. I miss your sweet purr. I miss your lovely poses and snore you made while sound asleep. I miss you frolicking around the little garden to appreciate the plants. I miss your everything. No more words can express enough how much I yearn to see you again, but I truly appreciate the time you spent with me. Thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my dear Cupid. T_T

So, problems with health. Grace, you shouldn't blame yourself. It's not your fault. There's a proveb: "If one could know where you fall - you would spread some straw". You're the best cat owner, I've ever met! Maybe later you'll take some other kitten. Not right now, but later. Time is the best doctor. And we'll always remember Cupid.

Teacher Galina, many thanks for kind words. Cupid was gone because of Acute Renal Failure. His bladder and urethra got calculus, which caused him to lose appetite and to urinate hardly in a short time. He had a surgery before he left, however, it was too late to solve the problem as he was also found other conditions at the same time owing to aging and some reasons. I really wish I could have found these early by taking him for checkup regularly. I think I wouldn't meet a cat like him anymore.
Oh, Grace, I'm really shocked to hear about it! When I saw the title of the photo, I even couldn't think it's about such a sad fact. I know how you loved your adorable Cupid, so I understand what a great loss it's to you. Thanks to your numerous photos even I think about him as a very well known friend. You're a perfect owner, Grace! What is the reason for such tragedy?
