Hello my friend. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the new year. However, I know that in Vietnam, the new year does not begin until Feburary 14th of this year. Am I correct? I am happy to hear that your studies are going well. I am your friend and always here to help you in anyway that I can. Please stay in touch and keep your lovely smile alive.
Regards always,
Gary

Hello Trang, Yes I'm back in the USA now. It was a long trip to Bangkok but very nice. Thailand is a beautiful country. I visited many places in Bangkok, Ayattaya, Lopburi, and a few other tourist places. Its really incredible to see so many ancient places. The food was great but spicey. The people were very nice to me and very friendly. But, of course, its nice to be home. I hope you are doing well. Talk to you again soon.

Hi Gary...Thanks for your very nice recommendation of USA , You have contributed some useful imformation to my knowledge , I would like to have a whole look of USA such as the strongest economy with very high technology development that all other countries covet to reach it...I know USA is the third or fourth largest country on the world , and It has many beautiful sceneries such as five great lakes and impressive mountain chain..all of them located on the middle frontier of USA and Canada...I would like to know more about Alaska state , the neglected land contains desolate and waste nature , otherwise this place has many valuable and rare animals...=.=
I think you know alot about cultures of Asian countries and Vietnam is just a small country contains a basement of old tradition and special culture , that expressed through your last comment...^-^
I've read by chance your explanation on "I have done", "I have been done", these also were among my other confusion on American spoken expressions. For me it's clear and somewhat easy to accept for "I'm done (with)", "I have done something" and we have all clear examples to avoid misuses. The cases of "I have been done", we don't have much available document in books or in internet to clearify its meaning or to give it a name. Following your explanation on it (I have been done) it is equivalent to "I have been doing" (present perfect continuous tense) in standard Brishtish English and maybe (I don't know) in American written English. If this is true, does this usage (rule) also apply for other verbs, could we use "it has been rained for 3 hours" for a continuous action comparing to "It has rained for 3 hours" for an action that has stopped (at or just before the time of speaking). But if it is that, your sample sentence "I have been done with my work for 3 hours" would not be exactly similar to "My dog has been dead since yesterday" (this sentence sounds a bit unusual for me)
Hi Gary , I know USA is a very great country ...You live in FL right? could you recommend some special things about your state ? does your state have Bridge golden gate ...? Its very famous over the world...Do you have any Vietnamese friends there? and do you like to eat Vietnamese food? I think there are many Vietnamese restaurants in Florida and other big states of USA...^-^
