thanks for your kind comment, i'm really sorry for replying late, because i didn't use Englishclub.com for long time, i'm working as IT Officer for an International Hospital, also work as Computer Lecturer for a University.
first I have to apologize for my late response. I have no excuse except for being too busy with every day stuff, lol, it is so tiring, I wanna a long, good holiday at a sunny beach! :-s
now I remember you said my name sounds mysterious, to be told such a pleasant comment by a wonderful lady such as you, I am simply flattered. ^^ actually I can say the same about you. not only your name but your country, culture and other stuff about Russia, it always making my heart to skip on a beat. I don't know why exactly. maybe the roots of my fascination comes from the time that I was still a little girl while I was sneaking into my dad's library to read his books. he was a big fan of Russian literature and writers and yet he wouldn't let me to touch his treasure, his special edition of War and Peace. however, I finally got to read it after I won a bet with him and made him to give the book to me as a gift! *giggle, giggle*
opps, I talked too much that I lost the track of time. :P thanks so much for dropping by and the lovely comment, it really made me happy, hope you have a happy day too.
It is nice to hear that someone loves the place where they were born and grew up. So many Americans move around, first to go to school (maybe), then for a job and then maybe someplace different to retire when they have stopped working at an older age. I truly love the place where I was born and grew up, which is the state of Vermont, in the northeastern USA. It has beautiful mountains, nice small, friendly villages and exceptional kind people. Unfortunately there is not a lot of work in Vermont so many young people leave to get a better job. But, some are like me, and I wanted to go back when my husband and I retired. I wanted to know if my nice state had changed, but it had not! It is very cold in the winter and lots of people don't like the cold and move to warmer climates. However, the people who do live there think they are stronger and hardier than "soft" people who go to live in warm places, like Florida or Arizona. I imagine Siberia is very cold....are the people friendly, also? Do let me know...someday I want to visit Russia and see for myself.
