Thank you, Bill. I`m glad to hear from you about suppoting to me. I hope our meetings will be interesting and usefull for each other. I could share my learning English experience and give some information about my job, plans and issues like that. I should use other sources of communication. For example, Skype, ICQ and other. We will get an opportunity to discusse many questions, topics with mic and web camera.

What lovely photos Bill! I enjoyed reading your blog. I toohave - in my case returned - to teaching after a busy life doing many other things. I enjoyed teaching since I can do what I like best - communicating with people.

Thank you for correcting me, I appreciate it.
You asked about what kind of business, that I'm working on it. Actually ,it's only a small business, I produce stationary, such as notebook, desk calender, pad, etc, as well as I produce wedding stationary , such as invitations, guest books, wedding souvenirs, etc. I design them by my self, but sometime I make custom design as well. When my customer want their stationery different from the others, I make a custom design So the stationery will look exclusive and suit for their needs.
I also have another business in agricultural, but my husband tend to work on it with. He sells swallow bird nest, This is trusted as a health food for Chinese people. Usually, they make it as a soup. It makes from Swallow's saliva, the shapes is like a small bowl or a small half ball, the color usually is white with a bit beige mixture on it.
Next time I'll write to you about my activity in a day or maybe you can give me suggestion what I should write to you? :)
Currently, I only could write it, because I got another thing to do, and...It's taken about twenty minutes just only to write all of it...lol >,<.
I looked some words up many times, and had to think how to make a sentence and what I should write...
I'm looking forward for your correction :)

How do U do, Mr.Bill? I wanted to ask why the US is a single noun (states are plural)? For example, the US wantS... I thought it was plural as in Russian L?

It is Saturday afternoon in Sydney and it is Friday in Denver, I think.
I was discharged from hospital this morning. It was just a small problem but I had been discharged when I shouln't. Hence I had to admit to the hospital again third times!
I was away from work over a week but it seemed so long to me.
When I have time I volunteer teaching Vietnamese for children. It is run by Brothers and Sisters. I also help a Parish to update Weekly News Bulletin on the Parish's web site.
I started to join blogs recently. I have never ever 'blog' before. Now every time I blog, I learn something new. I am interested in blog now. Especially when I read your writing. Some people say blog just waste your time but I think depend on what you want when you join. I have been searching for a learning English nerwork and I knew that there are a lot of learning community all over the Internet. However the question is which community is the best that suit with all my needs?

Sydney Morning Herald today, there is an artcle that is quite interested to me. The article with a title "MySpace cadets sliding into addiction" is about youth seems to spend a lot of their time online on 'multiplyaer gamimg' and 'social networking sites'. According to Dr Mubarak Ali, a Flinders University Social Scientist, three years later 'internet addiction' will be 'as a mental disorder in Australia'. It only differs from 'gambling addiction' at one point: 'more widespread'.
Susan Greenfield, an Oxford University Neuroscientist, stated that friendship made through a computer screen on networking such as Facebook, MySpace, Bebo and Twitter would affect on the brain: "infantilising" the brain. She aslo identified that as whlie young people focus oline activities they would be turned to a " impulsive and solopsisic" peson.

Hello Bill :)

Because I think English is a very important languange .
I wanna be able to communicate with people around the world, I have some friends from foreign countries.
I often feel upset when I couldn't say or write what I'm thinking about ,such as my opinions, my thoughts, etc.

I also planning to expand my business to overseas, so I decided I have to learn it.
I've been learning how to make a website lately and have a plan to make it with English. Instead I hire an English writer to writing, I would make it by my self.

Actually, I've been learning English since I was at school, but I,ve not use it in my daily live so I'm not getting used to it .

Now I'm start using it in my daily, such as watching some TV's shows without reading the text,as well Reading some English novels. I often get problems with grammars and difficult words or slangs.
When I'm reading a novel, I often look it up...haha, but it's ok, I don't mind as long as It can improving my English

So, I wanna learn about how to communicate and writing in English. I'm enjoying to learn it, so far. :)
Please give me some advise and correct what I've written above.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I came to Australia about 16 years ago...but still struggle with ...English. I was a literature high school teacher in Vietnam. I always feel frustrated when I couldn't express my thoughts exactly what I want. Writing in English is a big difficult for me. I learn grammar from English Club and from English books but most of them I don't understand how to use (in which context).
I visited Denver few years ago. I love Denver. Last Xmas, my friend invited me come over again. Maybe one day...
My sister escaped Vietnam by boat. She was in refuge about a year. Australian Immigration 'accepted' her to be Australian Permanent. Then she sponsored me...and now i am here, in Australia, my second country!
I love writing. I used to write a lot ...in Vietnamese. I wish I am able to write ...a lot in English too. I hope my dream will come true.
Please correct my writing and give me your advice. Thank you so much Bill.
