My brother Chuck has a video game called Need for Speed. You are the driver in the game. Time is spent trying to out run the police, dodging traffic, and contending with bad weather. You can alter the game to make traffic impossible. My niece and I will be so involved playing this game we lose all track of time. We are whizzing by cars on the wrong side of the road, cutting off other drivers, running school busses of the road, breaking all the traffic rules!!!! I can feel the adrenaline pumping and my heart racing. Then, when I get in my own car to go home I have to remind myself I am behind a REAL car and I WILL STOP at the stop signs, stay within the posted speed limit and not RUN PEOPLE OFF the road. I chuckle now-but that game can be addictive.
