Thank you MANAGER LIU

I never say "THANK YOU" to manager Liu, but a picture, he gave me a pair of white sneakers which he borrowed from a waitress, was drawed in my mind forever. Every time I thought of this picture, I felt warm, and my eyes filled with hot tears.Last year, we, some of the staffs, traveled to Lishui. When I got in the company bus, I saw everyone except me wore sneakers. I wore fashionable high-heel shoes. But one minute later, I forgot it."Becky!" I was hailed by the general manager when we got off t

confuse...

- "An empty house, an empty street, a hole inside my heart..."- I don't know what to do, does it mean I'm feeling empty? I don't want to do anything, does it mean I'm lazy? I wonder if "I don't know what to do" and "I don't want to do anything" have come to your mind in the same time? so, if there's anyone feel like this, what will you think? what will you do to help?

The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. ~St. AugustineMy first trip to Canada was unforgettable. First of all, I was sad and happy at the same time. I had to leave my parents and that made me so sad. At the same time, I was grateful to experience a new lifestyle and new adventures. I wanted to learn more about other people; how they live, how they think, what traditions and customs they have and so on. As a result, my first trip to Canada was thrilling. My departure tim

Teaching

Teaching a nice word , a hard activity. Helping people learn to do something not just know something.Teaching a language to other people is introducing a new way of thinking, a new civilization not just new sounds or new names for things we already know.Who doesn't eat bread in any form ? It is almost the same everywhere but in different names( Khobs in Arabic , pain in French) these different names don't change the taste or the colour of bread ..Things are not as easy as the example just given.

My English Soapbox! :D

English is an interesting language. For native speakers, I don't believe that we realize how challenging this language is...until we ourselves take another language. I appreciate languages. I love languages. I am fluent in English (native) and Spanish. I'm learning Arabic, which is VERY different! : DPersonally, I've worked in the hospital for many years, homeschooled my own children, and still teach English as a Second Language (ESL). It's very interesting for me to see how impatient some Engli

The Arts.

Bayanihan Philippine Dance Company. "Singkil"

The Arts.
Creative activities such as; painting, music, literature and dance are needed for a person's development. They also help us to release our minds from the pressures created by the demanding world.
