Ten Year-old Girl

I went to tutoring Chinese on Friday afternoon as usual. My student was a 10-year old little girl. Her mother is Chinese, but her father is American. Althourh she is half Chinese, she can only understand a little Chinese, not to mention speaking or writing in Chinese. I have been teaching her once a week for almost a month. My summer vacation will be of significance

This summer vacation, I didn't go back home, instead, I stayed in the city where my college lies. I'll take part in an activity named China International Coal & Energy New Industry Expo. I will be a volunteer in this Expo, which invites hundreds of corporations to come. I'm very proud of being part of this Expo, and I hope to serve for this program. Meanwhile, I think this is a great chance for me to improve my spoken-English.During my stay in Taiyuan, I live with 3 girls coming from my college.

I'm majoring in Chinese language education. But one thing I do know is that if I want to be a good Chinese teacher in the U.S. I need to improve my English skills.
