Sacred Fire On Last Tuesday

To listen to the blog, please click the "Play" button above!

“Fire” as one of the four elements of the universe, has been regarded in Iran for many years. Two thousand five hundred years ago, my ancestor’s religion was Zoroastrian. As a result, “Fire” was sacred to them. Some think that they worshipped fire. But, this is totally false. This misunderstanding rises when people suppose the fire they were talking about is similar to the one we know. Fire had thoroughly different meaning for the

Smile my friend :)

Many people know the story "the little prince"  by  "Saint Exupery" . but maybe not all know that he was a martial pilot and fought with Nazis and was killed. He was fighting with the dictatorial Franco in Spain before the start of world war II. He had gathered his wondrous experiences in a collection in the name of "Smile". He writes in one of his reminiscences that they captured him and incarcerated, he that guessed from violent behaviours  of wardens that tomorrow will be executed writes:

The Gimme World

One of the greatest fears was the possibility of eternal recurrence, that everything that had been through would keep repeating itself, that nothing would change. As Nietzshe had said, we needed to embrace amor fati, the love of fate. We needed to trust that all suffering and loss we'd endured was ultimately good, that everything that'd happened had a predestined purpose. Only then could we stimulate a transformation of consciousness.

Carnival

This week we had a holiday here in Brazil called Carnival. It's a time when people go to parties to sing and dance all nights and days during five days. As the parade is a competition among the schools, unfortunately only one wins and gets an excellent prize that (I imagine) is a

HANOI'S OLD QUARTER

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam where I have lived.

where will you arrive if you come to Hanoi. Of course, you can't not arrive at Hanoi's Old Quarter(the 36 streets).

As the oldest continuously developed area of Vietnam. Hanoi's Old Quarter has a history that spans 2,000 years and represent the eternal soul of the city. Located between the lake of Restored Sword and the Longbien bridge, a former city rampart and a citadel wall. The Old Quarter started as a snake and alligator- infested swamp. It

A Helping Hand

As I'm thinking on what blog should I write. It suddenly pops out in my head, the tragedy that hit northern Japan yesterday. A magnitude 8.9 quake hits Sendai at around 2:45 pm. After 30 minutes, a gigantic tsunami wipes out the entire city, leaving thousands of people feared dead. There are reports that the nuclear reactor has damaged and the possible of leakage is expected. Let us hope that the damage to that reactor will not push through as it will greatly affects the health of people living
