Learn To Let Go

There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk. I don’t want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The Bible said that, “They went out from us, but they were never really part of us. If they had been, they would ha

USED VS. LOVED

USED VS. LOVEDWhile a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father...... with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. D

An elderly chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried accross her neck. One of the pot had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion od water. At the end of the long walk from the steam to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years, this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pot of water. Of course the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments but the poorcracke

You are all of this to me

You're the thought that starts each morning,The conclusion to each day.You are in all that I do,And everything I say. You're the smile on my face,The twinkle in my eye.The warmth inside my heart,The fullness in my life. You're the hand that's laced in mine,And the coat upon my back.My friend, my love,My shoulder to lean on.You're my silly, mature, caring,Thoughtful, bright, and honest guy.The one who holds me tightly,When I need to cry. You're the dimple in my cheek,The ever-constant tingle in my s

BeautyYour lips, your eyes, your soulAre like a work of art,The most creative thing of allIs your beautiful heart. If you were a painting,No colours could expressThe beauty deep inside you,A rainbow, nothing less.If you were a sculptureThe clay could hardly makeYour figure of an angelWithout one mistake. If you were a euphonyNo choir could really singAll the beautiful musicYour eyes could possibly bring. So here I am, an artist,With inspiration beyond beliefBut to capture such rare beauty,I'd have

my eyes...

My eyes beheld a sky one night,It seems so long ago,A perfectly painted portrait,Be-speckled with blue and gold.As I sit and ponder more,It strikes me that you were there,And it was truly your simple beauty,That gave the stars their perfect glare.- Graham Stuart

Language Acquisition

Typical children are constantly exposed to language in the form of adults and older children speaking and communicating around them. Children acquire language at a very rapid rate, and most children's speech is relatively grammatical by age three. Normal children are able to hear and understand reasonably complex syntax, including rules of inflection and pluralization, and remember irregular verbs and nouns without ever having a direct lesson in grammar or speech. In fact, some cultures such as

Chasing-in on Your Passion

I get a good article from newspaper today. The title of the article is Cashing-in on Your Passion part 3. I don't have part 1 and part 2 because I didn't buy the newspaper that had posted it. This article talk about contributing and connecting with your network. This is the main of this article :1. Where the eyeballs go so does opportunities. It's mean that to communicate your stories is one key to chasing-in your passion. Before the era of digital, many people - like artist - develop their imag

Is Music Important to Humanity?

I believe that music is important in our lives. In modern day life we are surrounded by music at various times of the day. At times we may hear no human-made music, but still hear the music of nature. Some may argue that the "songs" of birds, insects and frogs are not music at all but just communication. To that I respond, What is music if not communication? It can be the communication of excitement or sadness. It can be communication of joy, longing, or a religious message. Regardless of the con

My trip to Georgia

I am spending a part of my vacation in Georgia now and I'd like to tell you a little about this country. Georgia is a small country situated on the Eastern shore of the Black Sea. Most of its territory lies in the Caucasus Mountains. It is a very ancient country that existed many centuries B.C. at the times of Jason, legendary Greek hero from Iolk. There is his monument in Poty, a very nice sea port and a great place for rest (the picture on the right). Georgia was well known by ancient Greeks an
