Book of life

As long as we are young we think we have a lot of time. But the world turns and time marches on. We get older every single second.

Every year, we make plans. Sometimes we fail, but more often, we succeed and reach our goals.
Often, we ask, "Why waste our thoughts on time? We still have so many years ahead of us."

But NOW is time for writing the book of our life.
When we are old, what can we tell?
Stories about lost dreams? Stories about wasted time?
Stories about places where we have never be

An angel with a big heart

Dear Adaline,

Although we haven't met, I can sense...

Your last message really made me wonder. How can you like somebody without actually meeting them? I can't say this is my best work, but I got caught up in the moment and after five hours I made this:

I'm proud of it 'cause it reminds me of someone with a beautiful mind, a big heart and a kind soul. You. My sweet Adaline. This is how I imagine you. An angel with a big heart.

PS. I haven't painted anything for 10 years! I used an app 'cause I'm sca

Thoughts in the late summer

Oh how much I like the late summer with it's warm days and high sky. The drops of the morning dew shine like brillants in spider webs and the first peaches and apples are ripe.
The first fogs show the fall and the first leaves fall down from the trees.
Last roses are blood-red, to show that they don't want to die, but they have just still some weeks to blow.
The days are getting shorter and the nights longer, it shows us how close the fall is.
Still is the sun warm and I hold my face towards t

There are five great benefits of living a purpose-driven life:

Knowing your purpose gives meaning to your life. We were made to have meaning. This is why people try dubious methods, like astrology or psychics, to discover it. When life has meaning, you can bear almost anything; without it, nothing is bearable. A young man in his twenties wrote, "I feel like a failure because I'm struggling to become something, and I don't even know what it is. All I know how to do is to get by. Someday, if I dis

If you are among those who have been struggling with your writing skills, then it will serve you well to know that you make the majority.

The importance of writing skills cannot be overemphasized, and aside from the obvious fact of helping you get your message out there, these skills come in handy, especially when you are looking for a placement in a position that deals with serious spoken and/or written language, such as magazine editorial, secretarial among many more.

English Learning Experience

The British, who ruled at subcontinent for about more than a century, had laid down the foundation of English as an official language, which is still the language of the court, public and private sectors in my country.  Therefore, English is taught as a compulsory subject from grade one to grade fourteen. A candidate for the job must possess the ability to write it excellently.

At my time, English used to be taught from grade six. So, we started learning this language very late. At the beginnin

Nice Lyrics of this old Song...

I really liked this lyrics...

I just kept going with the life,
Kept on flowing every worry like smoke..

It was useless to be sad for the runings (of life, the things I lost)
(so) I kept on celebrating the runinings..

Whatever I got, I considered that as my fate,
whatever I lost, I kept going, forgetting it..

Where there is no difference felt in sorrow and joy,
I kept myself bringing to that point..

(copied Lyrics of

"Main Zindagi ka Saath Nibhata Chala Gaya"

of movie (Hum Dono)

When I was small, I always enjoyed going out with my father except for the visits to the dentist. Besides the pain of the needles, I had to endure the horrible sound of the drill. Apart from this, I hated the way my dentist worked inside my mouth with his tools.

Once I told my father about this and he said, "You have no other choice except to go for regular dental check-ups if you want to keep your teeth healthy and beautiful, Shoba."

After that I learned to bite the bullet and put up with my de

I'd say ''Thanks'' You?

You’re doing no one any favors when you say “sorry” whenever you do something wrong, unless you’re Canadian. Most people mutter ''sorry'' when they mess something up and of those people who think that by saying ''sorry'' they'd be off the hook, there are some smart a** guys who make up a lame excuse for what they've done. Oooooh! That really ''grinds my gears''. How about showing a little bit of appreciation? People have no idea how many doors a simple ''thank you'' would open. Let me show you h

Meanwhile in a parellel universe...

The illustrations are self-explanatory in this blog entry. I have nothing to say except that I'm psychologically disturbed. I betcha can relate to some of these pics. However, the vice versa situation seems pretty normal, though, huh? Makes you wonder.

Warning!

Some of these pics are gruesome and disturbing, but I hope they'll help you look at the subject from a totally different perspective.

BRUCE, BRUSKE, BRUSCHETTA

Let's face it, most of us mispronounce food words in our everyday conversations. I see you're raising an eyebrow. What? You don't believe me? Okay. Fine. Take ''raspberry'', for instance. There's a pesky ''p'' in the middle of this word. Is it silent? Or maybe you should pronounce it, no matter how hard it is. Nobody likes an "I told you so". But, told ya!

Have no fear, cavalry is here. This is how it's done, folks:
