It is a true story. And, my intention to write this blog is to remind you to see a thing or judge a thing more than twice. This habit helps us to do less errors.

That day I was getting back home with my kid. It was just before Eid day( a festival). And, I had to get out more than twice so I was in a hurry.

I was considered a very reserved and proud person, who never got friendly with people as if I do not need them.  How wrong I was, it was realized when I got admitted to the hospital for open heart surgery.  There I was lying on the bed helplessly. All pride was gone.  Every medical student was visiting as I was one of the interesting chapters from their medical books.  I had to respond to their every question in spite they were giving me the awkward feeling that I was a guinea pig.

History has a habit of repeating itself. Events have happened in different eras and centuries, but the underlying concept remains more or less same. There are so many questions that occupy my mind, especially when it comes to religion.  Whenever I think of religion so many questions arise in my mind.

What is religion? Where does it come from? Is it sent to us by God? What is the purpose of religion?

In my opinion religion is like a guideline sent to us by God in order to help us to find the right path. Right path? What is it and to where? Altruism is the right path which leads to prosperity and happiness of all.

"You think too much", she yelled at me. And it was not the first time some one expressed his/her disillusionment from my idealism. Some called it juvenile, other called it pre-mature thoughts, some rejected by saying that they are far from realism others preferred not to comment. But no one said that my thoughts are irrelevant. Tawaf is done. Then the pilgrim proceeds to Saayi after praying two (rakaa) at Abraham standing place. After finishing Saayi, the haji is ready to go to Mina area for the watering day. Today, 22/9/2015 - correspondent to the eighth of Thulhijjah 1436 H, it is called the watering day. The pilgrims are all here in Mina area, getting water and whatever they need for the great Hajj, tomorrow, the ninth of Thulhijjah  which is the day of Arafa. They pray most of the prayers here and stay overnight. (

Light bulb moment is a burst of inspiration.   It is something you get out of a moment which you previously had not realized before.  An occurrence where you feel like saying “Eureka!” because it finally dawns on you the possibilities it can give.
