The Land of My Birth is Kalyan. Kalyan is a small city of India. Many people don't know about my city because it is smaller than big cities like Mumbai and Kolkatta. I like the land of my birth because I put first step on this land and my journey started from here. This land is a witness that how many times I falls and how my knees got hurt and how I grow. Few years back Kalyan didn't have big buildings, and highways and shops. But in these days my city has improved a lot.

Kalyan is a kind off vi

Happy Friendship Day !!!

I wish to all my EC friends Happy Friendship day

Thank you for being in my life and for making it more interesting and colourful.

Today is International Friendship Day and I think it is good idea to celebrate such day because sometimes our life is too hectic that we tend to forget how much our friends mean to us.

At least once a year we should slow down and remember our friends, no matter if they are virtual or from our real life. We should dedicate at least few minutes to them, to appreciate t

I am from Iran and I like to write about the nomads of Iran because their homeland is nature, Have you ever thought about living in NATURE. It is very hard but wonderful. Nomads of Iran should live in coordination with nature; because they are mostly shepherds depending on the livestock for their livelihood…..They have winter and summer homes and migrate twice per year. These migrating pastoralists move to the warmer places in early autumn and again move to the cooler pastures when spring comes.

2346873577?profile=original2346873749?profile=original2346873876?profile=original I was born in Bangladesh. It is a small country of south-Asia with a large number of  enthusiastic people. Here, people are industrious, they can smile without any reason ( I am also)!

In true sense, it is a plain land. We have many rivers so, it's called as a reverine country. We have no mountain but we have hills and the longest sandy sea-shore around the globe. Overall, my birth place is greenish, weather is congenial all the year round.

I have visited many places of my country. I love to visi

Melancholy Of Ancient Cat

This is supposed to be my travel blog. A few weeks back, I went to the Northern parts of Malaysia. I was writing about it for a while now. Then, a few tragic moments happened. The lost of innocent lives in Gaza and the downing of MH17. I lost interest in writing. Everything seems to be trivial and yet every trivial things seems to magnify.

It's like all the things I should have done differently. I should lived to the fullest all day long. I should try avoiding the self escapism and self pity. I s

Palestine is my Steadfast Homeland

I was born in Nazareth, Israel. My grandpa said it was called Palestine before 1948 when another people came to our land and confiscate our lands. So I grow up thinking that I'm an Arab Palestinian citizen living in Israel. But, how do I have a blue passport? Which means that I'm an Israeli citizen I'm one person out of 20% Israeli Arabs. I live in Israel in a country which declared itself as a Jew country rather than a country for all its citizens. I live here but when I ride the bus with other

I was born in China, so China is my homeland. Just as you know, China is a big Asian country with thousands of years of history. China, as one of the new emerging economies, has seen such a fast economic growth that it's now the second largest economy in the world, only second to the USA. China is still a developing country, though. Although China has made great progress in developing,  and even has succeeded in sending astronauts into space and a moon rover on the moon, and even topped the Olym

"Home sweet home!" This saying I find so true and if somebody uses it, on my mind is automatically my hometown, the city I can call without hesitation my heart issue.

I am proud of being Czech, I love my country and whenever I hear our anthem, it gives me nice inner feeling, which is for sure one of the proves of my patriotism. Sincerely, I dislike if people talk bad about my country and I am anytime and anywhere ready to fight for it and persuade them how wrong they are ( even though sometimes t

Blogs about Gaza fighting

My friend nida - one of our active members here on MyEC - just asked where all the blogs about Gaza are and if I have deleted all of them. I thanked her for asking and told her I didn't deleted the blogs. But I also told her that anything that may cause fights or hatred between MyEC members can be flaged or closed by the system, which means you can't see the blogs any more.

I understand the subtlety of the situation in the Gaza Strip. I'm so sorry that so many lives there were lost. The question

Subtleties in English

My first blog entry on English Club, so I had better introduce myself.

I am Australian born, so my native language is English - if you can call what they speak down here "English".  However, my mother was English (as in "from England"), and my father's parents were British (Scottish and Welsh).

I joined the English Club because I have a huge interest in languages in general, and English particularly - because of its extremely diverse origins.  I speak "school-boy" German, understand quite a lot of

Just in one week, we lost three planes in Ukraine, Taiwan, and Mali, and hundreds of lives were lost immediately. The safety of planes is now the major concern of people around the world. I wonder if it's still the safest way to travel by air - though there are always plane crashes, the airplane/aeroplane/plane has been considered as safest way to travel.

Why are people so concerned about the safety of planes? Thanks to planes, the world is now seen as a village - people can travel from one coun

Dear Captain,

I just dreamed of you last night. That was a strange dream. I embarked your ship, and I saw you sleep on the deck, dreaming. Just then there came a water screen from the sea, which was showing your dream. Don't worry, I was the only audience.

I am sorry I forgot your dream. Perhaps I should have woken up and kept it down. Sigh! But recently I noticed a good thing. The memories of ten years ago came back to me. As I read Su's diary, I could think of many of the shared moments between

Writing Prompt ~ Forgetting Articles

My neighbour has lots of pets in his backyard. As far as I know, he has a bunny, a parrot, a dog, a cat, a hamster, a guinea pig and some couples of parakeets and cockatiels. The bunny and the hamster spend all day munching on lots of pieces of lettuce along with carrots. They're very quiet and don't disturb your owner at all. The dog and the cat are very troubled, they seem to be addicted to go after each other in a ceaseless fight. They are really problemati

Irritating moment.

Hello EC world.

How are you all doing?

Today I came up with a question and the question is,

DO YOU GET ANNOYED OR IRRITATED BY THE NOISES AND ACTS OF OTHERS AROUND YOU WHILE YOU ARE TRYING TO FOCUS ON SOMETHING OR YOU ARE WRITING SOMETHING?

What made me to query is;

I was trying to write a blog but there were so many voices and noises of the people around me.Usually when I write something I choose a place where no one disturbs me.But today when I was trying to write a blog all of a sudden everyone at

Remembering MH17

The office is in a somber mood today. Nobody seems to be in the mood to talk. We just stare at our computers. The radio is just playing slow songs. Everyone is in shock, again! We Malaysians are facing another sad tragedy. Our Malaysian flight is believed to be shot down by some party who is in conflict with each other and crashed in Ukraine. All 298 passengers and crews perished in the tragedy.

I just came back from an Iftar with my friends at roughly about 11.30 pm last night when I received va
