Many people may agree that English is a relatively easy language. How about this English sentence: "I love you." ? Don't you think it is easy to learn or understand? But English may not be that easy as it may seem to be. Even popular "small" words such as "in", "at", "on", or "the" can cause confusion - mistakes related to such small prepositions or articles are not uncommon, not to mention English idioms or phrasal verbs or collocations or the differences between British and American English.

There is often confusion over 'all' and 'all of'. 'All of' should only be used when the next word is apronoun(e.g., us, you, it, him, her).
Examples:
All of us...![]()
All of you...![]()
All of it...
Do not use 'all of' for normal nouns - just use 'all'.
Examples:
All the soldiers...![]()
All the nurses...
I need all of the chairs.
(The word 'chairs' is not a pronoun.)
All of the divers returned safely.![]()

Armenian Christmas
It is frequently asked as to why Armenians do not celebrate Christmas on December 25th with the rest of the world. Obviously, the exact date of Christ's birth has not been historically established-it is neither recorded in the Gospels. However, historically, all Christian churches celebrated Christ's birth on January 6th until the fourth century.
Armenian Christmas," as it is popularly called, is a culmination of celebrations of events related to Christ's Incarnation. Theophany
Have you ever experienced something strange, irrational and unreasonable? I have once.
At that time I was on my motorcycle on the way home from my campus. When I almost reached my home, when I turned left, on the street corner, passed another motorcycle from the opposite direction with two guys on it. Right in that moment I felt a stone was thrown hard and hit my right waist.
"F**kk!!!" It was so painful that I almost put a dirty word out of my mouth to curse them. I thought one of them did th
Hello, my dear friends!
I still have a New Year mood and that's why I invite you to share some interesting New Year customs and traditions! I think every country has something unique and unusual. New Year is a holiday when miracles can happen. So let's try to prolong this condition of miracles anticipation.
In Russia we’ll celebrate Christmas only on the 7th of January, that’s why New Year celebration is more important than in many countries of Europe and America. Now all Russian people are havin
Having just upgraded a notch in my age tally, I hardly feel any motives to fare the way ahead. What I achieved last year is but the relocation of the family to a new place, which is still entailing endless trivial hand work, which I hate most. What to come still? The vicious circle is spinning there! Sustenance is what makes human beings eke out their living in particularly different ways. Mine seems to be a unique walk of life, given the backgrounds this sort. However, before moving I had vowed
Now that 2013 has arrived, it's time for me to find another job. As some of you know, I left my job teaching English in Hong Kong last September just before my brother's wedding in October. I wasn't going to try and begin a new job until 2013 since my father passed away in December, 2012.
Now it is 2013 so if anyone knows of any TESOL jobs available feel free to let me know. I have a natural inclination to go where I haven't been before (Mexico, South Korea, Hong Kong) simply because I do en

I expect to pass through this world but once;
any good thing therefore that I can do, or any
kindness that I can show to any fellow-creature,
let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
I was enjoying the music when suddenly I felt some water sprinkled on my face. "Rain inside the house?" I wondered. In fact, my mom had sprinkled some water to my face because she had been talking with me but I didn't give any response at all. "Sorry, mom. I was wearing headset. Don't you see?"
This is a fragment of chat between me and a Turkish guy.

One day I went to a mountain with my bother, sister in law, niece, mom and grandma. There were strawberries sellers who allowed people to pick them directly from the trees and my niece wanted to do it. So she came out of the car with her father and mother whilst I, my mom and grandma were in the car parked on the roadside.
Shortly afterwards, a car came from backside and took place in front of ours. A young guy came out and walked hurriedly toward our car while his hands trying to open his pant
One day I listened to music from my CD in my bedroom. I sat on my bed enjoying the beautiful songs. When I wanted to change the song, I saw that the remote control was dusty. So I took a tissue paper out of a tissue box next to my bed to clean it. But, surprisingly, the remote control disappeared. I searched it under the pillows, under the blanket, under my butts, but I didn't find it. I was very puzzled. "Where is it?" I asked to myself. "I just held it few seconds ago but now it's gone."
