missing my star

I'm not a poet . I'm not a writer , either . But I do want to write about my shining star, i do miss him a lot! I can't even find proper words to describe all these warm emotions and feelings  towards him.I dedicate this blog to him ...all these photos of stars are for him.

Pico Ruivo - after a few attempts

2346522317?profile=original

It is one of the most popular high level walk on the Madeira Islands. Pico Ruivo is 1,861 meters high and that makes it the highest peak on the Island. It provides some of the most incredible views of the island and a variety of flora and fauna. However, the weather condition is unpredictable. It is best to check the weather condition before climbing.

15 January 2012

So it was planned, we were going to climb the highest peak on the Madeira Islands today. The weather was good and I was thrilled.

The place where my colleagues and I used to spend our weekend night. Perhaps this is the most authentic Arabian spot which still remain as it is.Suddenly I thought about why don’t  I write about what I know about this place. Certainly about those things I found out which I never thought before about this place.

People were always asked me how does t

The Fence

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper t

Let's Write!

What to say about my writing skill?

The more I learn, the little I know. The more I uncover, the more remains hidden.

Despite of my learning English, reading habits, plus other extra efforts, I still can’t find myself to write creatively. Whenever I attempt to write, I always hit the wall and that put me to a stop. I am useless with compartmentalising. So confused as to how I should start and what to write first. Everything seems to come rushing into my head at the same time. Then all of a sudden

In my opinion, it will not detract from our inportance,if the aid of the others helps us to reach what/where we are now , and it's wrong to think for  doing everything without the help of the others,  and being snooty for asking that , we make all this just when we haven't a great confidence in ourselves , means when we are really weak ............. but when we are strong we never feel in this .

When we get to a certain level of ability ,we will receive the help of the others with spirit of grati

Read newspapers. Read online news. Read short stories. Read articles. Read all kinds of sign boards. Read magazines, books and novels. Have you developed your reading habit yet?

Reading skill is essential. Reading is beneficial and feasible activities.

When I first started my secondary school, I used to borrow English story books from the library. On the way home, in the school bus, I took out and read it. As I recall, I was not really reading it, not to mention that I did not even understand it.

Stop translating while speaking

English is not the language that can be tracked by translation. However, practicing it in four different common ways is the core point. Listening is the most distinct one amongst all. So while speaking, non native speaker think a lot of their own language, and this without doubt make English very tough and kind of hardship to be properly spoken. Fluency would be impossible by keeping translating while speaking English. Translation itself is complicated task though for experts so what about learn

My name is Shane, and this is my city. I live in Sydney, Australia. Sydney is famous for its beautiful harbour, Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Sydney is on the eastern coast of Australia between the cities of Newcastle in the north and Wollongong in the south. There are many beaches to visit and I love spending my time down at the beach. I especially like the beaches where there are not many people.

The view from the Botanical Gardens to the city centre and harbour is amazing. The Botanical Gard

What The Hell Was I Thinking?

Half of this piece was written during the earlier part of 2012. When I received the news that my father was dying, I decided to finish it before his passing. He left this planet on October 22 2012. This one is dedicated to him. The writing was very hard for me to even think of posting here. But, it's time for me to move on from the grief and begin living again. My next blog that's posted will be much more humorous.

Speak English even in Dream

English has always been my passion ever since I was a child. How was that possible? A mystery I could not fathom. None of my family member speaks English. Neither my friends. Not even my neighbours. Once, when I was about nine or ten years old, I tried to practice my English with a distance cousin. I uttered a few sentences that I picked up at school to her. Hopefully she would answer me back in English. Instead, she laughed at me.

Finally, I had the opportunity to practice my speaking at Seconda
