what should we do? (part-3)

Today, I am going to share one of my experiences with you. Then I just completed my S.S.C examination. That day one of cousins came to our place so my brother and I had a great day. After passing a busy and joyful day I felt tired. So, I said goodnight a bit early and went to my room to set up the mosquito net. But, when I was tucking the net, suddenly a flying insect (looked like a grasshopper but small in size and color was light ash-black) caught my eye-sight. And, without thinking, I Hold it

Speaking from experience, letting go of something very important to you is definitively the hardest thing to do. Your heart and mind are sort of at war with each other and you sometimes just feel like giving it all up. This blog is based on my own experiences and what I had to go through before I convinced myself that it's time to let go and move on with my life.

Is it worth it?

Letting go of people you were once or still are madly in love with is a horrible thing to go through. Ask yourself a few

Message in a Bottle

My name is Scott, and I am marooned on an island. It has been torture, living here with only a knife for protection. It is an environment that is very alien to me, a man from the big city. The light from the sun is so bright it is a wonder that it doesn’t destroy my eyes. But what I find myself missing the most is a roll of toilet paper, so if you find this note, please bring some when you come and rescue me.

Why Do We Have To Speak English?

Why Do We Have To Speak English?

by: Princess Monera Lumina Bacarat Indol

My father once told us a story that was also narrated to him by his paternal grandfather relative to why many individuals in southern Philippines are conversant to the English language, particularly those who were in their pre-school years when the Americans formally colonized the country.

In the island of Mindanao, Southern Philippines, historically, we were made to believe that speaking the English language would do us bet

Don’t Procrastinate

Snooze………  Alarm is ringing; you still want to snooze by pressing right side button of your mobile and sometimes you keep on doing like this and as a result you get late and try to finish your work in a hurry-scurry manner, and then have to think of excuses to tell your boss.  So, “Don’t Procrastinate”.  Waking up early in the morning is a good habit; not only it is good for health but also gives you decent time to do your daily chores satisfactorily before going to office or college.

The Blogger that Saved the Day

It was nearing the end of November when I realized I hadn’t posted a Writing Challenge on MyEC. I grabbed my journal, and started jotting down ideas. Suddenly, the lights went out. An alien appeared in front of me and made just one demand.

“Give me your journal.”

I tried to grab a knife, but it was too late. The alien was already wr

Every night he comes in dark

Enters his much loved place

Hunts for eating stuff………………

Throw &  wreck everything………………

Wish to lob him out

Hard to grab him out

I saw he turned plump

Twisted my home into hell

Hard to hide the whole thing

Conscious where all the things.

Sandakan - The Gateway To Nature

Some time in the middle of October this year, I had to travel to Sandakan, Sabah for a business meeting. This was my second visit to Sandakan, but when I visited it the first time, I never had the chance to see the town due to hectic meeting schedule. But this time, I had the chance to stay overnight over there.

First, let me tell you a little bit about Sandakan. Sandakan is the second largest city in Sabah. It's at the north-east coast of Borneo. It's better known to be the gateway for the famou

Searching for Happiness............

This is a story about a wealthy man and his son

One day his father took him on a trip to the country, where he aimed to show his son

How poor people live, so they arrived to a farm of a very poor family, as he considered.

They spend a week over there.  On their return, the father asked his son, did you like the trip ?

Oh, it was great, dad – the boy replied

Father: did you notice how poor people live?

Boy: yeah, I did

My Addiction Destroyed Me!

It's always easier to resist in the beginning than at the end!

I found this quote on internet and it seemed pretty much true to me.

I guess we can easily quit any bad habit or unwanted thing towards which we get attached to in the beginning. Because once if we get used to such unwanted things or habits it could/would be difficult for us to get rid of it. So a wise decision is to quit any unwanted thing in the beginning cause it's always easier.

I would like to share my personal expe

I LISTENED TO THE WORD OF MY FATHER

I listened to the word of my father

I listened to the word of my father

In Childhood

O my father! you are amazing! I enjoyed a lot

I laughed many times with you, I really like you

You took me to school, introduced me

I saw friends, teachers, and the Almighty

In Adulthood

You opened my mind, I learned a lot from you

I saw the world for the first time, I traveled alone

I noticed the places, people, and their talking

I just found one way, I could walk, I could pray

 In Parenthood

 O my father! I adm
