In the first cold night of first day of December, sitting in my bed with legs inside blanket and laptop in my lap singing the melodies in media player, inspired from my EC sissy to write a meaningful blog I began to think about the topic of my first blog. Gazing on the chats prompting in EC main chat room i plunged in to the data base of my memories to search a interesting topic for myself to start writing.

Having few thoughts in my mind, I started to write few lines soon i found my self in dead

Yesterday I took part in an awesome, traditional event, which is related to Christmas. It was the first of four Sundays of Advent and it means we should have lit the first candle on the traditional Christmas wreaths. For better imagination have a look here:

Anyway back to an unforgottable, magical experience. A huge, coniferous tree was standing in the middle of the crowded square and was planned to be lit up exactly at 4:30pm. Yes, so early! However, here it is already dark at this time so I kno

Dear friend, we have Tropical rain forests in our country. We call them “tropical” because Sri Lanka is a country close to the equator. We call it “Rain forests” because we get a lot of rain from these forests.

This is a thick jungle. There are four layers of trees according to their heights. The tallest - big trees -tall trees-medium and small ground layer trees. There is a world famous rain forest “The Sinharaja rain forest” in my country. It was named as a world heritage in 1989 by UNESCO.

I used to watch the white haired old lady sitting on her rustic rocking chair with a vacant look on her face. Her weathered and wrinkled face looked so sad. Sometimes I noticed her gnarled hand would tremble ever so slightly. Other times, I noticed that she would grip the rocking chair as if her life depended on it. Once in a blue moon, she would break into a little smile. Her little chuckles were so rare, as rare as hen's teeth.

I wondered what her story was. I bet she had endured so much in he

The Way Through The Mystery

It's the end of November. Winter has already announced its presence in the air. Blankets are now needed at night, and it's difficult to leave the warmth of the blanket in the morning.

My home is at the far corner of the city and my office is out of the city. After five or six minutes drive from my home towards my office, the road becomes narrow and bumpy. So it's difficult to sit up straight in the car. We bounce up and down on our seats. And everyday it feels like the bumpy road will never end.
