‘What am I going to write about’ is the most important question that you’ve got to ask yourself before you start writing any paper. But it’s even more important when you’re deciding what you’re going to do for your midterm. After all, with a shorter paper a poor topic can still be fudged as there is generally enough pre-amble and post-amble to get you through.

When the paper gets longer, however, that’s no longer possible. You actually have a big body to fill and you better make sure that you fil

International students and workers must take a standardized test of English to move into higher levels of education and employment. There are three popular tests that universities or employers can use. They are the Test of English as a Foreign Language, TOEFL, the Test of English for International Communication, TOEIC, and the International English Language Testing System, IELTS. In most cases, the choice is clear. A student applying to a school learns which test the program requires. However, s

Meet my pet: Peeve! III

Betcha you're more than familiar with password restrictions. Granted, it's for our "safety" and everything, but I can only take so much! You're telling me my password should contain:

A capital letter (preferably in bold and italic)

An imaginary number

A spell to trap a leprechaun

A vial of fairy dust

An Enochian letter (more than one is safer, though.)

A monogram and a voodoo chanting?

Come onnnnnn!

Dear website security system - hell-bent on "protecting" me:

The next time I decide to buy a froyo online

My Ideal House

2347373040?profile=originalDo you like to live in a palace or a house? I'd prefer to live in a big house with lots of furniture just like an apartment or a boarding house because I can't live by myself and 2 cats.

I love my house even though it is small but comfortable.

What abput you? Which room do you like to spend time there?

I'd prefer my library in front of a fire place, sipping a green tea milk and choco chips biscuits made by a bakery.

I want to have a coffee table and games room someday...

Fairy tale ( A tale of two frogs)

Once upon a time there were two frogs lived in a king’s pond. There they had every thing for their living. So, they were very happy.
One day a clever fox came over there. And, he became jealous finding how easily the frogs got their food and other necessary commodities. So, out of jealousy he decided to make them fool thus he could grab the things from their inhabitant.

Next day the fox took his close friend near the pond and started talking about a land where winter was very cold. They described

“Run Dark, run!” How many times I’m going to say this to myself, like a mantra that reminds me of how to live and to survive, an alarm to my senses that I must escape, whatever it takes, wherever I’ll be. Time runs so fast like what my feet are doing now, I don’t know why they keep on chasing me as that woman have more than enough jewels to care about minus this piece of gold I have in my hand. I know what you’re thinking about me, and you are so right! I’m snatcher, an expert stealer; my hand i

The power of love

There lived a handsome young man in a small town. His name was John. He always was in the red ... not to say he was broke... nevertheless he lived on a large scale like a rich man. John was not stupid, only very lazy. He was an excellent chef but he didn't work at all. His parents always payed for his debts, so he never saw any reasons to change his behaviour. He was not a bad person... just, he never had learned to do anything in time or even to catch the ball before the boun

My Winter Fairy Tale

2347373144?profile=original

Well, I feel like writing my fairy tale  today as I am lucky to see a lot of snow, to feel severe frost and all winter magic at last! My tale is based on Ukrainian and European folklore as I have already been staying in Europe for about two weeks.

One morning at the end of December, Father Frost (Ukrainian/Russian Santa) woke up after his long sleep as he felt like going to die because of the high temperature.  He took a glass of icy drink to cool down and looked around. “There is still no snow o

fairy tale ( a girl and a white fairy)

Once upon a time there was a little girl in a hill-side small village. In every winter the villagers observed a festival where the little girl wanted to go. But as her grandma was very old and had no extra money to spend so always the granny had to make excuses to refrain her from going there.

That night it was freezing outside. The little girl was tucked on her bed but she was not sleeping rather her cheeks were flooding. But she was not blaming her granny as she knew her granny could not effort

Another poem on the motivation of Onee's Challenge on the same word "dulcinea" I tried earlier. The basic idea of the poem borrowed from children rhymes. A learner is always a learner (like me) always seek help from hither and thither)

All the ways go to the world of my dulcinea

“Take a bus or take a train

Take a boat or Take a plane

Take a taxi or take a car

Maybe near or may be far

Take a rocket to the moon

But be sure to come back soon

To the world of my dulcinea

“Go, Go, Go!

Fly in a plane

Or ride on

Yes, this morning I failed to prescribe a patient any medicine. I didn't think the patient needed to take any medication for his back pain - I just suggested rest and hoped he'd feel better tomorrow. He agreed and left the clinic.

The pain was bearable and intermittent - it's likely the pain will ease itself. Besides, any medication has some side effects and abuse of medication is such a concern now. So, I decided not to prescribe him medication.

On the other hand, maybe I should have prescribed

She told me to stay here and she’ll buy us drinks, my mother told me she’ll make it fast, this is the first time she brought me outside, only me and her, my siblings left in our house, I’m excited, I feel special. The bus station is full packed and crowded, people are rushing to their trips and the ticket booth seems like a box-office movie.

It’s been a while now, where is she? For sure, she finds it difficult to buy something as everyone wants to have themselves first, maybe there are multitude
