  • Hi Anele!

Thank you for the information about ‘CAMTASIA STUDIO’. I’ll surely give it a try since it comes with a trial version ;-)

However, a similar pre-installed programme came along with my new computer when I bought it just a few months ago! I’ve already tried it a few times. It’s an amazing gadget! One of these days I may make a video using this tool, you never know! Thanks again for being so appreciative with what I'm doing – producing videos!

    Regards,

    ~* GS *~

  • Hello Yasemin!

Thank you for dropping by and watching my ‘First Video’. You left me feeling uplifted! I appreciate it a lot, my friend. See you around!

    Regards,

    ~* GS *~

  • Dear Tara,

I was thrilled to bits reading your pleasing words. Thank you! I’m more than glad to share my recently acquired skill in making videos with anyone who shows interest. See you with another video the soonest I could. Bye for now!

    Regards,

    ~* GS *~

  • Hi Mitran!

Thank you for watching all my videos, including this one. Well, I’m just a chip of the old block. Most people say I sound more like my fatherlike father, like son :-)

I’m very much delighted that you like my voice. By the way, when are you going to read something for us?! I just wonder how you sound, my friend! Cheers!!

     Just me,

    ~* GS *~

  • I'm so surprised to hear that you are a novice at making videos. This is amazing. We can all learn a lot from you! I must go post today's news now. I look forward to hearing your reports.

  • Hi GS,

You're welcome! I just want to let you know that I wasn't disappointed for not showing yourself in this video. I understand that you put a lot of effort to come up with an excellent one. As a matter of fact, I admired your creativity and passion since you're one of our best speakers on MyEC. This is very useful to learners who would like to practice their speaking skills. Keep up the good work!

I appreciate the tips you've mentioned on your reply. Thank you very much for that and have a fantastic weekend.

    Robbie : )

  • Hi Nida!

Nice to meet you! I’ll remember the pleasantness of your words for the livelong day and beyond.

For your info, my mother tongue is Tamil. Here in Malaysia, we seldom speak in English among ourselves. As a general rule we converse in “Malay” a lot which is the national and most common Language. This is the only local ‘idiom’ that binds people from various ethnic communities and tongues. Thus, getting an opportunity to speak in English is fairly restricted! Nonetheless, I’ve a very supportive foreign “online friend” who opens the door to practise my spoken English with her! May God Bless Her!

Would you believe, I’m a complete novice at making videos but I had a shot at it. It took me about two weeks, of course by trial and error, to round it off! I’m still in a daze, to a certain extent, that I managed to upload the upshot to YouTube and here at our own “Video Gallery”. But, it was all good experience..!

Thank you for sparing your precious time to watch my maiden video. Have a wonderful weekend, Nida.

    Regards,

    ~* GS *~

  • Hello Anele!

I hung on your every word… while being enchanted, to be precise! There’s no doubt at all that you are a skilled writer who will easily captivate any soul on earth that reads your words. I always find it challenging to conceal my envy of you! In point of fact, I’m not trying to turn on the charm but just playing it straight! ;-)

Thank you very much for watching my first video and making such stimulating comments. You’ve really fired me up for a second video, Anele.! Cheers!!

    Warm Regards,

         ~* GS *~

  • Hi Robbie!

Thank you for paying such heart-warming compliments. I’m flattered!

By the way, I know pretty well about the decision not to show my face at the newscaster’s desk is bound to disappoint some expectant faces. I’m really sorry that I let you down or any others who share in your view..! Nevertheless (look on the bright side), if I would have gone ahead with that, I will be the nightmare scenario in your life – you can bet your bottom dollar on that ;-)

Ok! I used Window Live Movie Maker, along with Microsoft PowerPoint to create this video. Robbie, contemplating your enthusiasm for “videography”, it will be a piece of cake for you. Believe it or not, I learnt the dexterity from scratch in just a couple of weeks! You could do it…, put your trust in me!

Well, I’m delighted you have faith in the video that my fellow members at Be a Newscaster will like it. Oh yeah.. before I forget, thank you to MyEC and YOU for featuring my “first video” – I’m deeply indebted! See you around, Robbie!

     Regards,

    ~* GS *~

  • Hi Gabriel,

Great job! Your video is very impressive and your concept is interesting! I just thought that you're gonna show yourself the way newscasters do on evening news he he he....(Kidding)  I hope I can do what you did. May I know what apps you used in coming up with this video?

Thank you for sharing your first video. For sure, The Audio Speaking Group will like this.

    All the best,

    Robbie : )
