I adore summer! It’s my favourite season! Maybe because I always have a break from work or maybe in summer we can enjoy spending time on the great Russian river Volga. Fortunately Saratov is situated on the right bank os this wonderful river ( the longest in Europe, but not in Russia). My family has a small powerboat, so we have a nice opportunity to have boat trips among numerous picturesque islands and enjoy the beauty of nature and tranquility. When we find some suitable island we stay there for picnicing. We usually prepare shashlyk (grilled meat on the fire). Also we enjoy fishing, swimming, playing with the ball or just walking around the island and picking flowers or wild berries. If the weather is fine we can stay on the island and spend the night in the tent or in the boat. It’s great!

Would you believe it if I tell you that strawberry is grown in Cameron Highlands, the place where I was born and brought up before moving to Penang? I used to eat strawberries almost every day when I worked in a farm for a few months while was waiting for my GCE O Levels results! Those were the days, my friend!

Hmmmm...honey and strawberry....seems so delicious! I've never tasted it in this combination. It's time for the first fresh honey now in Russia. I adore fresh flower honey! It's so clear, so sweet! Now I'm going to taste it with strawberry!

When I first looked at this photograph, the lifebuoy that you’re holding reminded me of a bigger version of the doughnut – cross my heart and hope to die! Also, this song started spinning in my mind, “Brown Girl in the Ring!” Okay, I know that you’re a Pinkish Girl and you don't look like asugar in a plum as mentioned in the song but I would rather say that you look like a honey in the strawberry!
