This is a true picture, of course! I took it when our students were having an excursion to that horrible landfill. Unfortunately it's not very far from my native village. And it's a shocking place....they are going to built a processing plant here...but....it looks like a scene from a disaster film....
Powerful photo! My daughter will be visiting the local landfill next week for an environmental class she is taking. I think it should be an eye-opening experience for her.
