Sorry for the blurry photo! This is the closest shot that I could get using my smart phone. I was watching the news while preparing dinner at around half past seven and thought of taking a shot at it.I thought I would never able to see this rare thingy because of cloudy skies. Its brightness was spectacular. It would have been different if I used my SLR cam, but I wasn't able to set it up earlier. Well, anyway here it is the so called 'Supermoon'.

You're absolutely right! I can use this phone at night as long as there's proper lighting. I'll try to be more prepared for the next scientific phenomenon.
I totally agree with you. The Supermoon's brightness was a scene stealer itself. Maybe that's the reason my phone had difficulty capturing it. I had to keep photographing the moon in order to get a clean shot hi hi.
It looks like we've been through with the 'blurry photo' experience before. I had lots of them especially the ones printed using films. I agree with you, it's not our friend's fault when the photo turned out blurry. Nobody wants that to happen to anyone.
I agree with you. My Facebook feed that time was full of Supermoon photos from different locations. There's even a news that some media outfit tried to photoshop it.
Thank you commenting! I guess smartphones aren't ideal for night mode shooting. I used it anyway because according to the news, the Supermoon wouldn't last its size and brightness. And true enough, it changed back to a regular full moon in a blink of an eye, (after a few minutes). I also didn't pay enough attention since the weather was a bit rainy that time.
I'm glad I was still able to capture this once in the blue moon phenomenon.
When I first time had a look at blur picture, I thought I needed a glasses I mean my eyesight had been weak, later it revealed that the picture was blur :)
When picture taken by a friend is blur, you need to view it by the eye of your heart. Robbie nice picture!

Well, smart phones are not a good option for taking pictures at night. But it's a nice try :)
