Unlike the common shaved ice which is made of water, this is made of milk that tastes not so frozen, but soft, fluffy and delicate. It is white in color, resembling snow, so we call it snowflake ice. The toppings are red bean. I indulged in this for my dinner yesterday. :DDo you love eating ice/ice cream in summer? I do! :)

Bob, the red beans are just mixed a bit sugar since nowadays people here don't like things too sweet. I think you can find a dessert "ujikinntoki" (うじきんとき) when you are in Japan. It's Matcha flavor with red beans, and rice cakes. You'll find it amazing, I believe! :D
Are the red beans mixed with sugar or honey to give them a sweet taste? I'm not used to beans that are sweet or served as an ice cream topping. I guess I will see if this is available in Japan so I can experience snowflake ice and beans.
