Every day, I have to make breakfast and lunch parcels for my husband and daughter. So for a long time I used to using banana leaves to wrap up foods. In my garden has only one banana tree. But fortunately my neighbor has a very fruitful banana cultivation. :DSince long time I could be able to avoid lunch sheets, similar bags, plastic cups and boxes. My daughter is a member of a provincial environmental society. So, she against to using them and she always helps and motivates us to use “Eco-friendly” things.My country is very rich from Banana. Many Sri Lankans, (especially in rural areas) using banana leaves to wrap up foods. Before a few months government prohibited using lunch sheets and similar bags. But very difficult to avoid them totally.Dear Grace, Thank you so much again to give this opportunity. And I’m so happy to participate in your challenge. I’m a nature lover and this is a bit effort from me to help our earth.

Hi Kal! Wow I thought it only happens in my country. I can say that it is the traditional and down to earth way of us when we prepare the food on banana tree.
