This is the pond in my backyard. There is staircase made of bricks on the edges. I enjoy sitting down there and watching this reflection of trees into the water.
Here is the link to Grace's challenge if anyone interested to take part...:-)

Yes, Onee I'm lucky indeed. It is here from my childhood and I learned to swim in this pond. There are many kinds of trees surrounding the edges and there are many kinds of birds including Parrots, White Herons on that trees, White-breasted Waterhen who makes cave into bushes on the bank of the pond. One day I saw two snakes were dancing together, that astonished me. when there rains it's very nice to see the water sprinkle and little round wave creates all over the pond. sometimes I like to drinking tea sit on that staircase & contemplating about all that greenery and mossy green water and life surrounding it...:))
Thank you Dara.....:-)
Dear Grace,
It's my pleasure you liked it & of course, there are many fishes and other aquatic creatures as well. It is a large pond. In every year one or two times, fishermen catch fishes with a big net for the villagers...:)) Thank you for your comment here:-)
you always have nice eyes of a critic & always I enjoy your comment to read:-)) @ Roman
Valo Oporazita! Nice photo.
Thank you for joining in the chain, Oporazita! :) This is interesting! It seems that the reflection and the stone made the pond a unique painting! Are there any fishes or creatures living in the pond, by the way?
Yes, not transparent, but that moss even makes the reflection of the leaves green! So it is wonderful! :)
Thank you, Roman :-)
Nice to see your comment here and glad you like it. The water is not so transparent because of moss.
Maybe that reflection and moss also help me to hide me, Onee :-)
Dear Onee,
Thank you so much for the inspiration and nice comment. I'm glad that you like it.
:-) you are right, that stone's crack and color made it like a big snake. That is why it was more interesting to me to snap that picture. I was on the upper stair when taking the picture and was cautious about not to show me in the picture :-)
