I like the theme of the new contest! :-) This photomarathon brings people together and helps people get to know each other. :-)November 4, Russia celebrates the Day of National Unity. This is a very young holiday, although it has a very old history.Many people do not know the history of the origin of the holiday, but they enjoy the additional day off - almost all people have a rest on this day. :-)What did I cook for lunch on this day? I don’t remember! I think it was chicken with buckwheat porridge and some green peas. I love canned green peas! As for chicken and buckwheat - this food is good for health. It is low in calories and high in protein and minerals.But I can not show photos of the dish! I found out about this competition, after all ate! :-)But I took a picture dish for supper!:-)These were the pancakes! I think that all Russian women can cook pancakes!In Russia, there is a huge number of recipes how to bake pancakes. I'll talk about one recipe.:-)So first ingredients. 1.5-2 cups flour, can be more, depending on your appetite, but then do not forget to match the proportions of the other ingredients. :-)0.5 liters of milk (can be water, but milk is delicious, right?).3 eggs, I like the big brown eggs with large bright yellow yolks. :-) Tablespoon of sugar, a tablespoon more - vegetable oil and a pinch of salt. :-)First we mix the eggs, sugar, salt, and stir. This is necessary so that the dough obtained without lumps!We then add the flour - better gradually, so it will be more convenient way.When the flour is absorbed and get monotonous mass, we begin to slowly pour the milk and mix thoroughly. First flour, then milk - then no lumps. But if you flop two cups of flour in a pint of milk - you torment destroy lumps, pressing them on the walls of the bowl. :-)Actually, Dough is better to use a blender. Then we can forget about the lumps. But I have a problem with the kitchen appliances, so I make the dough for pancakes traditionally with the corolla. :-)Now add in our dough of vegetable oil. You can take the usual sunflower or olive oil, some people may be to the liking corn. Best oil odorless, then it will not interrupt a subtle and delicate flavor of our pancakes with milk. Incidentally, quite a sweet tooth can increase the amount of sugar to your liking. And, you can add vanilla or cinnamon, but note that cinnamon paint the dough in chocolate color. :-)I'll let you in on a little secret: in order to get not just pancakes rosy and beautiful, but also the charming holes, bubbles in the dough, you can add a little water, just a couple of spoons. :-)We oil the cast iron skillet with butter or a slice of bacon, a layer of oil should be subtle. We have added oil to the dough for our pancakes will not stick to the pan. So we should not pour too much oil in the pan. If you use a Teflon pan - you can not lubricate it with oil. :-)We then wiggle the pan, so that the dough flowed across the surface of the pan. Only it should be done very quickly, griddle is hot. It is possible to write about pancakes long. :-)Once the dough is browned and you can see that it is not liquid - you can flip it. :-)The second side is fried even more quickly than the first. Almost a few seconds, you can remove the pancake. Then again we grease the pan and pour the next pancake.Now you know how to cook pancakes with milk. :-)Can be spread with condensed milk, sour cream or raspberry jam. If you do not sweet dough - you can spread with liver paste, vegetable snacks, squash caviar. It all depends on your imagination. :-)November 4, I painted the condensed milk on pancakes! :-)

  • Rosenmaiden, pancakes look so tempting. It seems they've just been cooked. Looking at them I have the only wish to cook them immediately myself. I use the same recipe. But I don't eat them with condensed milk ( my nephews love). I love them with sour cream or with butter. Thanks for reminding me about them....
