Not really sleeping, are they? They are old and need to rest but the blue one has a motor and transmission that just reached 40,000 miles on the odometer. See photo titled "speedometer". The rest of the car has been in the hot Texas sun since 1995.
The white one has been in the hot Texas sun since 1991, so is older than some of the members of this site. It is still pretty good but will have occasional parts wear out. Right now the air conditioning is out of service and it is getting above 100 F most days. At least the windows can be opened, I tell my wife when she complains ; )
