Baking and gardening are the two hobbies that I really love. This is my version of the ultimate chocolate mousse cake that I baked and prepared for myself. Since I’m fascinated with cakes and plants, I designed this one so I could combine both (passions) the edible plant-like fondants and chocolate cake itself. The Magnolia inspired flower wouldn’t be complete without a butterfly that acts as an icing of the cake. I used cream white chocolates for the fondants.
I made a personalized nameplate to match the cake. Of course, it’s edible too but I decided to keep it for a little while. Actually, it took more hours to finish the cake and patience is really a virtue. Moreover, I had the chance to experiment some designs and let my creative juices flowing. The ideas are endless when you’re into baking!
I’m grateful for another year as well as for the wisdom I gained while preparing such masterpiece. I know I have to learn and practice more, and keep the momentum of living optimistically even if there are hindrances to face. I’m quite pleased I have an itsy bitsy garden as my refuge and family and friends that I can rely on. Most importantly, I have the Almighty that I can hold on to.
Let’s always remember, life is like a box of chocolates (life is unpredictable)!

Just WOW!
Thanks a lot, NotAClue! :)
Thank you so much for the warm comment, Glosky! I hope you're doing fine while dealing with the horrible monsoon weather. Take care!
Wow robbie! Looks yummy!
Hello, Onee!
Please bear with my late reply. I'm sorry to say that this cake didn't last for a day. I shared it to my relatives. It would be a pity not to share it. Besides, it's too sweet and I didn't want to end up having tonsilitis...But don't worry, I'll make another one in the future. :)
Thank you very much for the comment! I truly appreciate it!
Have a great week!
Robbie
Wow, so cool!! I take my hats off! I cannot make it. LOL
But, did you eat it all up yourself, Robbie. Why didn't you share with us? :((
