This place is situated West of France, on the Atlantic cost . It's called "Mont saint-Michel" and it is one of the 5 top touristic places in the country. At low tide, people can walk all around the little island, but never without a guide because it can be very dangerous as there are shifting sands here and there. If i remember well, i think this place is a Unesco patrimony. What you see on the top is an abbey and all around is the little village. In summer it is absolutly full of tourists and people can't even walk in the very narrow streets and stairs. So, this place is heaven in fall and winter, but "hell" in spring and sumer :))
