Spitting image is the correct one. I literally changed our own language idiom (Filipino language) for the term (pinagbiyak na bunga - where "split" is the appropriate term)
But now I understand that the term has the appropriate equivalent in English.
Sorry sometimes I forget people are not familiar with all our sayings........I was asked earlier if my comment using "spitting image" was rude. No in our language it is not.....so I did get it's definition for any that might be confused.......thank you who brought this to my attention.......HUGGGGG
