A very impressive view, Grace! It's really exciting to see a green forest and a stone forest at the same time! It really remids the forest! So interesting.... The landscapes are simply terrific!
Grace, where did you stand taking this photo? It seems your position was very very high.....
Bala, good question! Our guide told it's formed by Mother Earth itself. This area was under the sea level long long time ago. After plate tectonics, rain and groundwater to erode gradually, they are what we've seen now. Agree with you, it's magnificent!
Bob, yes, it's so amazing and beautiful. I highly praise of how the stones could be formed like many shapes like animals, sword, etc. This is the one that looks like an elephant, isn't it? Really impressive! :)
Asif, thanks a lot! My notebook has been added another new idiom today! Yeah, we visited there almost up hill and down dale! It'd be much better to spend whole day there to take a close look at their difference of each stone. It was a bit pity we just took a whirlwind travel there.
Right, the area is quite large-scale. Sometimes you'd feel you are in a giant labyrinth to look at those stunning stones. Here is another photo I took at the same day. The stones, plants, water and the clouds made an enchanting scene. :)
