My 103-year-old grandma was moved into a nursing home yesterday. It was a very sad day for the family. It's hard to believe that it took this long for her to need nursing care. She spends most of the day sleeping. I miss her.
Your comments are so sweet. I think she is beautiful, too! I wish I could see her more often, but she lives on the other side of Canada. I hope to see her this year. My dad is visiting her right now, and says she is doing very well.
I think the older persons need not only our care and respect but also the feeling that they are still important in our life and we need their wishes and words as they need us ...

She looks like a fairy Grandma in the fairy tale which I used to read, with white hair and the eyes full of love.
