  Of course Ann, we have very sunny summer. I guess it didn't have so much care than it needed.

  Wow, so it is good that the villages in your country always have blossom flowers. In my city, it is too hot for flowers except bougainvillea.

  Yes, you are right Burn, those flowers raise in high temperature climate. Many people like it because it is easy to plan.

  To Elen: I think this flowers need bright sunlight. Is it usually sunny in summer in your country?

  No ann Srilanka is not 100% tropical climate country.we have mixed climate with three seasons.Hot weather season,cold weather season and rainy season.Villages in central province always cold climate and ideal place for flower plantations.

  Hi ann,
  You know, bougainvillea is very suitable tree to use for Bonsai. The heat-loving plants also can be used to decorate walls, fences or gateway.

  I haven't see it anywhere in the nature, i think it doesn't grow up here. But i just read in Internet that they have planted it in parks here in Greece. And of course we can find it in the flower shops. Some visitors had brought us a flower pot with bougainvillea and we planted it in the ground. There is still there but it didn't blossomed this summer, i don't know why.
