This wrench has two connectors at top of picture for hoses from a hydraulic pump. The square shaft at the bottom of the photo fits into a socket wrench. The angular portion fits against another nut on the flange or pipe neck. Several thousand pounds of hydraulic pressure from the pump turns the wrench shaft. This allows something to be made tighter than men can do by hand with a long wrench handle. It is very strong and will mash off a finger if someone is careless.
