The burning of fossil fuels is the most important factor in global warming/ climate changes. The problems with fossil fuels;“Carbon dioxide from the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas for heating, electricity production and transport is responsible for the largest part of the man-made increase in greenhouse effect.”“About 2/3 of man-made carbon dioxide emissions come from the burning of fossil fuels. The rest comes from changes in our utilization of the soil, especially from the firing and burning of the forests.”“The Energy Agency (IEA) wrote in 2004 that demand for energy will increase by approximately 60 percent from 2002 to 2030, unless the world radically changes course. And if the share of fossil energy continues to be the same, emissions of CO2 will also rise by approximately 60 percent.”So, what to do to breathe clean air? What to do to make world a more healthier place for future coming generations?Wind energy may be the solution. As a pure energy form, wind energy does not have the disadvantages as mentioned above but saves the atmosphere for the environmentally and harmful substances.“Therefore, the phasing-in of increasing amounts of renewable energy into the energy system will be associated with socio-economic benefits, because it provides the solution to the problems caused by the burning of fossil fuels. This applies both to expenditure in relation to climate deterioration and to more specific environmental and health costs.”Quotation signs are used, because information is taken from the net.Well, this was a little “dry” and “boring” lesson, nothing less and even importantly, climate changes concerns us all and it is a collective responsibility.Thank you very much, Grace, for posting this very interesting and time of need topic as photo challenge. You girls are very creative, ideas flow quick and easy. Thumbs up from here :))*My apologies for the little bad quality of photo, it was raining and it got dark.

Actually I remember you posted a photo here of a windmill. Yes, this was a little heavy lecture here ッ though, I feel glad that you see this in a positive way with possibilities.
Thank you, Kal for appreciation, I know you are an environmentalist and care much about the wellbeing of animals and nature in general. I respect that ღ
There is a lot of focus on environment friendly initiatives here, what I can think of is solar cells, recycling of cans and bottles, electric cars, garbage sorting etc...,
It is very sad to know, sometimes some unlucky and non considerate decisions can have fatal consequences. I can very much understand your feelings being sad about it. I actually read about it in the news here the other day :-/
Stay strong, healthy and safe!
Thank you very much for sharing the link, Grace, interesting, thoughtful reading. You are welcome, my pleasure to participate. Wishing happy weekend from here ღ
My country has a coal power station.Once I have visited there with my family. But we didn't get much idea about that kind of power stations and their process and procedures. Your explanation is very helpful dear. Not only EC friends. It'll be helpful for school students and anyone who interest about.
This post is fine to match the challenge, Eva. Except wind power, I wonder whether there are other main energy that are also applied in your country. Recently, our government halted operating nuclear energy that resulted in extremely high level of PM2.5 as they changed it into coal energy. This decision is like a nightmare for us. :(
Thank you for making time to participate in the challenge. Happy weekend! :)

Wind energy is still on a very low level here in Ukraine. I hope it will change soon.
Good job, Evangelina!
The photo looks OK, by the way.
