There was something about this ‘Metallic Gold’ that intrigued me ever since we talked about it three weeks ago! I was always on the lookout, as a matter of fact, for a web page where this colour has been used. To my utter amazement I stumbled upon one such page just now. I found the temptation to create something using the colour too hard to resist. However, the truth is this colour stands out well against a black background rather thana white one.

Thanks Gabriel. The metallic colours like gold are very difficult to mimic. The colour you found 147, 138, 83 works really well. I will check the hex value for it.
Here’s some info about how I came up with that ‘gold’ colour effect. I typed the texton a Word document and changed the default colour (black) to ‘Tan’ – darker by 50%, a preset colour found in the colour palette. The RGB colour code for this is: 147, 138,83
Unfortunately, I don’t know how to get the ‘Hex Colour Code’ for it. However, upon searching the Net, I foundsome colours which look like ‘gold’ to my eyes. Please refer to the below listfor the codes and their corresponding colour samples.
Thank you, sir!
