I was in an online conference session yesterday, and I took a screenshot of this slide. The session was about using hashtags on twitter. Marisa was talking about #ELTChat and how it has become a community with common goals and interests. As I stared at the slide I realized that MyEC is a community in a similar way.Challenge:1. I'll choose "diversity" - MyEC members are from different countries, with a variety of cultrual backgrounds. But they are all interested in English language.

For example, MyEC Forum tends to discuss different subjects, general ones like Love is.. , or others for helping each other with English like Is it possible to practise speaking English alone? If yes, how?

@Fidan Great! You've come to the right place. For example, Robbie recently blogged about an interesting festival in the Philippines. Ali blogged about her Sunday afternoons in England. And newsbeginner wrote about ABC, a plan to prevent HIV in Kenya. I think this is a great example of "diversity"!

I'll choose "rules". Every community has to have a few common rules. The main rules of MyEC are "Be Nice" and "English Only".
