No, Rathanam, it's not uniform we're wearing. It's a tennis t-shirt for our mini-tournament. And, I was photoed with the two young girls because we were the winners in the mini-tournament. The men were our provincial officials who handed us our certificates and medals for winning the championship. I won third place and got bronze medal.
During summer here - April and May, every sports conduct "clinic". Clinic is an intensive session of instruction for different groups to gain sport skills like in tennis, badminton, basketball, swimming, martial arts, etc. etc. etc. There are specialists-instructors or coaches and trainers who conduct the clinics.
This clinics are done during summer and when the schools are closed for their summer vacation. That way, children and other students are free and have other things to do on their vacation.
When sports clinics are offered one has to pay a certain fee to be able to join. Then, at the end of the clinic session, there is a competition in all categories like in tennis.
Although, I learned tennis the right way and paid the coach and trainer for my daily lesson, my coach still urged me to join the clinic so that other seniors may be encourage to join as well. No other seniors joined, though.
We are proud of you. And now I feel ashamed cause i'm only 22 and I don't do any work outs ( I always give up after 2 weeks) so I start doing them right now (again)! :)
