Hi Lucy, thank you for your nice comment! Yes, I can meet with that big family almost everyday on my way to work. I enjoy watching them grow day by day ^ ^
They are called Canadian geese - different from swans. We are told not to feed wild animals here. If I feed them to make their life easier, they will find any problems when they migrate to the south in winter. I think that makes sense ^_^
hi Yoh,
I love big families, so nice to follow how they are growing , this pond is near your home, do you can feed them? maybe one became a swam, what do you think? :)
Hello Elina - thank you very much for liking the picture of my favorite goose family. The babies have now grown up. They have not flown yet; just walk to everywhere ^ ^
In this picture, they are coming back from an excursion. The line was so long that I couldn't shoot in one picture. But don't worry, the family members are all well.
Hello Lynne, hello s. a. bawazire - thank you for your nice comments. They really have a strong family tie. If I get closer to the family, both parents come in front of me and try to scare me away. The chicks get together and become one tight flock to protect themselves. As Monika Pirkó said a little while ago, they are even magnificent as well as lovely!
