The rupiah consists of coins from 50 rupiah up to 1000 rupiah and banknotes of 1000 rupiah up to 100,000 rupiah.A 50,000 rupiah bill is enough to pay for five bowls of meatballs, Junco :) I will treat you!

    and,  how about sharing a picture of kaki lima here... that one near Papaya supermarket... I always get my tempe there...

    10,000 rupiah for 3 blocks... OMG... that's a lot...I am happy enough with 10 slices of tempe at 500 rupiah/slice... that would be too much for snack... hehehehe...

    Tempe? Aha I love this food too, Lynne! it is healthy for your heart ;)

    You will get a lot of slices of tempe .. more and more. I usually only paid 10,000 rupiah to get three blocks of Tempe.

    Have you thought how many tempe can you buy with that much money? :)   I am just missing  tempe...
