This is a perfect autumn picture, the only thing missing there is the squirrel :)
They look very special kind, just imagine how much struggle taking them out of the shells. Normally people don’t even think about it, we just buy them.
They are so delicious when they are green Roman , I will take a picture of them to show u and other members here , but at the beginning of spring when the almond season starts . Because , what I have shown u here is some of the nuts I picked up from the tree branches , which belongs to last year season :)
@Roman @Onee :) thanks for seeing my photo. The hard shell is broken by a hammer or a small stone in order to get to the nuts . They are even eatable when they are green . I will show u there picture, I think many people haven't eaten green almonds they are so savoury :)

Hi Rosemary!:) Wow! They look different from those almonds in Google pictures... I guess you need to remove the skin or shell before eating them.
I would like to see them hanging on a branch of the plant, that they grow on it.
What else interesting fruits, nuts or vegetables do you have near your home?
Thank you for sharing!
Dear Rosemary,
Can you eat that directly? :) I never see them picked from its tree. :D
Btw, very nice shot! ^_^
