  • wind - He winds his watch/ clock.  Past tense and Past. Participle Wound (rhymes with hound) not the same as an injury wound.  Such a fun word to have parts that liken like other English words but sound different and have a different meaning.

  • What is the past particle of the second "wind"?

  • Not twist in the wind although something could.  Wind can mean the movement of air (short i) or it can be Wind with a long I, which means  to move in a curving line or path.  This road winds or curves.

  • twist in the wind means ??
