I don't know where they get that much of salt. I think it's some low quality salt that is not used for cooking. As far as I know, my country don't produce salt. The ocean is far. And the Baltic sea water that we have, isn't enough salty.
There can be snow from October to April. but in extreme cases even in Jun. It's also possible that we don't get any snow at all.
The municipal gov, or actually cleaning company fight against the snow and ice with salt. To pavements where I walk with Pipa, they strew mixture of salt and sand. So the foots get always muddy. It's extremely bad for Pipa since it seems it's painful for her to walk on there. I don't know if it's because cold or something else like pawns being gentle. I think it's cold. Because salt makes snow melt her pawns get wet and freeze. I tell her walk beside of pavement even though there's more snow, but there at least aren't salt, but she don't understand. I think she have got old. Maybe little senile. Sorry for saying that.
Hi the dog from the Thailand. I haven't asked your name yet. I'm Hardi, Pipa's Hardi. Thank you for the sun.
When it's cloudy then we can't see the sun. When it's clear there is sun. When there is snow and sun. It will hurt the eyes. First it's painful when going out. And then when going back into darker place, inside a house. It feels so dark that can't see anything. It's because I will forget eyes to outside.
But the good side about snow is that it's also lighter at night. When there are stars and moon out at night. It's really light. the shadows will be clearly distinguishable. They're visible at summer too when there are moonlight, but at winter when it's all white. It's really different. The horizon that is visible from my window is about over 15 Km away and it will be distinguishable at night. Fields are white and forests darker. When also trees are covered with fresh snow then forests aren't that much darker.. but usually they re still distinguishable even at night.
We have already warmth weather too. But the snow don't want to melt away. In winter, when there's about 5 C warmth, the snow will be gone with day or two, but now the weather have been over zero already a week, but there's still a lot of snow. Every time when I go out, my pawns and stomach get cowered with dirt. So I bring a lot of sand into home. Then I go to Hardi's dad's, or mom's bed to sleep. Hardi is so mean he made own bed so high that I have hard to jump there. Otherwise I would share my sand with him too.
Hmm virtual friends are good too, but technology aren't developed as far to be able to smell each other. About "skinship" and "fistship" *(fangship in dogs case) I better don't even talk about. But yeah, Okay I don't mind. I hope It's not too rude to decide our friendship without smelling each other properly.
I think first snow at winter was little interesting after a summer for her. But now it's already almost spring so.. I'm not sure what she thought. I think she wasn't very happy. She's quite old already something about 12 years at least. I think.
It wasn't cold on that day. It was about around of zero.
She looks a bit annoyed, because I was dealing with camera while I was walking her. And there was too much snow, she was able to walk only by beaten trails. She's small almost cat size dog.
